Do Parents need a tool to connect with Teachers?

Many teachers think staying in touch online is important as a teacher. Do parents need a  tool to connect with teachers? It is known that many parents and teachers think it’s an important & the easiest way to communicate, and it’s a simple way for parents to stay informed at all times and know what is expected of their children. Papers and take homes can easily be misplaced or go unseen. The kids can be scared to show the results and remarks to the parents. There are many online school tools available like ParentPortal and individual websites that can cater to the cause of parent and teacher interaction.

There are different and varied options available on different levels for the web packages & online tool to connect with teachers. These products range from one basic template to a library of templates. Nowadays pertaining to the technology boom and social media influx, many comprehensive mobile apps and other services have also entered the market for the cause. These apps come in expensive packages, but they also provide a 3 way communication between the school management, teachers and the child. Others can also opt for low cost packages or apps which offer web customizing and a mobile website that appears similar to an app in a mobile browser to provide a comprehensive and a user-friendly interface.

Most parents also like to see long-term calendars, a contrived chat platform to provide feedback to the teacher, and educational links to help their child with academic assignments and social engagement activities at convenience of their smart phones. Parents also want the tool to connect with teachers to be absolutely user-friendly and properly defined. The parents believe that this would help them in gauging and assessing the permutations and combinations in regards to their child's education. It is known that more than 60 percent parents emphasize the importance of keeping school management websites up to date. But this is not the case, mostly the websites are not updated regularly & there are many loopholes in the communication between the parents and teachers. The parents feel that there is a need for a comprehensive online tool to connect with teachers. The same feeling is also shared by the school authorities. Both the parties believe that such apps would help provide transparency and improve communication and interaction to benefit the child. Indeed, this may be the best option for the parents, since all of the above features would be essentially useless if the concerned platform was two weeks out of date.
